My Story

Kim Pierce, a 25+ year resident of Tahoe, brings over 25 years of HR leadership experience to her work with small business owners, helping them drive growth and success. In 2016, she founded TruckeeHR to deliver California HR compliance solutions to startups and small businesses in Truckee, CA, and the Lake Tahoe area. Drawing from her experience at leading organizations like Starbucks, Amazon, Vail Resorts, and major healthcare companies, Kim has since expanded her services to other states, ensuring businesses stay compliant and focused on what they do best. She holds a Bachelor's in Psychology and a Master's in Human Resources. When she's not helping businesses thrive, Kim enjoys exploring Tahoe’s mountain bike trails and backcountry skiing adventures.
